It started with JJ
ZippyPaws' co-founder Jen adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy in 2003. Being the friendly puppy he was, JJ quickly won the hearts of everyone he met. Some of his favorite activities include sleeping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.
As a business student at the University of Southern California, Jen wanted to leverage her family's 20 years' of manufacturing experience in the pet industry and her strong design background to create a boutique brand of pet products. ZippyPaws was established in 2011 and ever since we have created toys that embody JJ's best qualities: playful, colorful, and loads of fun!

Great interactive toy. Lets her hunt and find the toy. Durable for hours of fun. Strong squeaker to hold her interest. No smaller part and well built so she can play safely. Light weight for small dogs to throw around. Great overall toy for your pup.

Very sturdy and their favorite toy. They love the little fur ball hedgehogs that squeak. Perfect for small to medium dogs. One likes to chase the fur balls and the other likes to pull them out of the nest. Sturdy and great price for so much fun.

I am always on the hunt for a toy that entertains my very precocious Maltese Havanese mix. For a little dog, he’s quite a ferocious chewer. The log is very well-made and the holes are small enough to keep the toys inside for a little while. Unfortunately, I discovered the hedgehog toys inside the log are not much of a challenge for my dog and easily destroyed. BUT, he loves them so I have bought replacement hedgehogs twice already.

My dog loves this toy. It’s one of his favs. He has the hedgehogs out of the burrow in no time, but loves racing around with them in his mouth, gleefully squeaking them as he goes. Yes, the hedgehogs have very effective squeakers. He also runs around with the burrow, which, thankfully, is silent (for those early mornings when I’m just not ready for squeaking and need to hide the hedgehogs for a while).The toy is well-constructed and ears, eyes and nose are securely attached. The burrow has nice thick padding and the hedgehogs are plump.He pulls at the fur and over time leaves small clumps of it around, so be careful if your dog is likely to eat it.He has “killed†two hedgehogs by biting through and exposing the stuffing, but I wasn’t really expecting these to last forever. The burrow is still intact, and although it doesn’t squeak, he seems just as happy to run around and shake it.Unless you’re expecting this inexpensive toy to last forever, I’d recommend it.

This was one of the first set of squeak toys that was given to our Pom girl. She loves them, and plays with them every day. They last for years. After a while they get raggedy and smelly if outside too much. Then we put them in the washer & dryer, and they survive well - even the squeakers. We get more new ones every couple of years because she likes all the whiskers, but they wear away over time. But we still have almost all of them - 1 got lost.
