It started with JJ
ZippyPaws' co-founder Jen adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy in 2003. Being the friendly puppy he was, JJ quickly won the hearts of everyone he met. Some of his favorite activities include sleeping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.
As a business student at the University of Southern California, Jen wanted to leverage her family's 20 years' of manufacturing experience in the pet industry and her strong design background to create a boutique brand of pet products. ZippyPaws was established in 2011 and ever since we have created toys that embody JJ's best qualities: playful, colorful, and loads of fun!

Hold's up well under rough play with my small dog. We play tug-of-war all the time. It almosts likes like a frisbee when tossed. Given us lots of good times.

This is a good toy and very durable and doesn’t get chewed up too much (love the no stuffing) but my god is the squeak sound SO LOUD and ear piercing.

My little Maltipoo loves this toy. She likes to bite the squeakers and run around with it. She likes it when I throw it in air and she catches it. Toy is holding up so far. Great prize for a fun toy.

UPDATE 2/14/19 - Ok, after 2 months he's finally managed to rip the head open and pull out the squeaker, but he still LOVES his hedgehog and it still has 6 squeakers left which is plenty to make it fun to play with.UPDATE 1/14/19 - We've had this toy now for a few weeks and it is still the favorite toy, all squeakers are still intact and even though the big boy has spent a considerable amount of time and effort sincerely attempting to chewing off the eyes and nose, he has not succeeded! This is one tough toy!!This is a new favorite toy in our house! Our 4 y/o 90lb Labradoodle loves his Christmas present hedgehog. He’s a huge fan of squeak toys but also is notorious for killing squeakers and ripping out stuffing. This has no stuffing and 7 squeakers so we were set up for success. I like that it’s easy to throw and squeaking it gets him really excited to play. I can tell he likes that it’s a ring and easy to grab in his mouth. It seems pretty well made and after a week of rough play indoors and out in the snow, it shows no signs of wear yet. The only thing I would say by way of complaint is that it smells HORRIBLY chemical right out of the package, and I imagine it tastes that way as well. He wasn’t really interested in chewing on it until after we’d washed it, but now he loves it! I can definitely recommend this for squeakers toy lovers!

I have a shitzu and a yorkie. He loved it. Unfortunately my shitzu never got a chance to play with it..great toy but my yorkie had a squeaker out in 10 min. Had to take it away because he actually eats some it.. but great toy anyway

This is the first toy and only squeaking toy that our red Heeler pup has not destroyed and adores. I bought another one so now had one for indoors and outside, she goes through squeaking soft toys in a day or 2 but not this one and still plays with it daily. Highly recommend!We named it flatapus for a flat platapus and she knows all her toys by name, hedgehog didn’t work

Wir haben schon wirklich viel Spielzeug gekauft und ich denke, dass es auch Glückssache ich, ob ein Hund es dann mag, oder nicht.Jedoch: Mein Hund hat noch nie ein Spielzeug so rumgeschleppt und es geherzt, wie diesen Igel. Die Quietscher waren relativ schnell kaputt (wie bei anderen Spielzeugen auch). Aber es tut dem keinen Abbruch. Er schleppt den Igel überall mit hin!! Man kann ihn außerdem wie ne Frizbee werfen und er fliegt recht weit! :-) Sollte er mal das zeitliche segnen, wird er direkt wieder bestellt!! Er ist jeden Cent wert!! :-)

My little dog loves this toy. Lots of squeakers. He likes to chew it but with no stuffing he hasn’t tried to pull it apart (he’s a shredder). This is the second time I’ve purchased some of your toys and I’m very happy with them.
