I bought these wooden labels to use in my vegetable garden, and they are exactly what I was looking for. They are a great size and sturdy enough to be pounded - fairly gently - into the soil. I wrote on them with a paint marker, which bled only little bit without affecting legibility. The writing has stayed intact through watering, and so far the labels still look brand new. I will try and update how they hold up throughout the season.

I think they are beautiful and they came with more than enough for me to label garden and indoor houseplants. These may fall apart after months of sitting in soil. But taking them out and letting them dry out from time to time should slow that down. The marker should just be a free bonus because I couldn't even write with it. It was so floppy. But everything else is perfect. Even the baggie that it came in is durable and reusable and perfect for storage.I love them and will buy again in the future

I have only on these for a couple of weeks. They were the perfect markers for perennials that I was donating for a local plant sale. I'm not sure long-term if they will hold up.

I really like the look but after a while the writing with a black marqueur fades away and later the wood became week and break ( after being exposed to the elements for about 6 months, so less than a season for me.)

Started out ok. Easy to write on , but after a couple rainstorms the marker faded and I have no idea what I wrote on them anymore!
