I absolutely love this embroidery stand! The beech wood has a beautiful, smooth finish, and it feels sturdy and durable. It’s really easy to set up, and the adjustable height and rotatable hoop holder make it super comfortable to use, whether I'm sitting or standing. The 6†and 8†hoops included are great, and I can switch them out easily. The stand is stable and holds the hoop in place, which is great for my cross-stitch projects. I've been doing embroidery for a pretty long, and I've spent a lot of time in the embroidery area of various craft stores and specialty shops. I'd never heard of these types of stands until I saw someone with one on Instagram. It was an immediate need. Tired of hands cramping while holding a hoop? Embroidery stand. Filling in a billion French knots? Embroidery stand. Working other two-handed stitches? Embroidery stand. Simply lazy? Embroidery stand. It VASTLY improves the embroidery experience. I have used mine regularly for over a year, and I just purchased one for my mom (who recently got into the hobby) for Christmas.This stand is well-made with sturdy wood and easy to put together. It can be a little tricky getting everything at *just the right angle* but it is adjustable enough. For the price, this is an excellent stand for a hobby user. There are other options out there with more bells and whistles; this one covers the basics at a price point that feels very reasonable.

I bought this adjustable embroidery hoop stand as a gift for my mother-in-law, and she couldn’t be happier! The beech wood is sturdy and well-crafted, providing a solid base for her embroidery projects. After pulling a tendon in my wrist, holding a frame while cross stitching was not possible but I was not willing to try something new for a lot of money to learn that an embroidery stand was not comfortable either. This works well. The diagram is pretty is to follow and the holder is really not that complex to figure out any way. The wing nut is a PITA and does loosen but not bad enough that I can not work around it. I can easily swivel the piece around to get to the back and it is comfortable to use while in a chair. I do wish I could lower the height an inch or so but it's not really a problemIt made cross stitching easier to do and nicely holds my project when I am not using it. I have tested it with various hoop sizes and they all seem to work. They just have to be the typical wooden hoop so that the brass tightener area fits in the clamp properly. My wrist is healing well and I plan to continue using the hoop stand afterwards.

You can only use the two embroidery hoops included with the stand. These hoops are well made, but they are polished beechwood, and as such, are slippery. This makes it challenging to hoop your work initially and you have to frequently tighten your work, being careful not to distort your fabric by pulling it unevenly around the perimeter of the hoop. I have more than a dozen hooped projects going at any given time and want to be able to place whatever hooped project I want to work on into my hoop stand. I can’t do so with this product. Any time I want to work on a different project, I must unhoop one from the included beechwood hoop and then rehoop the other project. In addition, the stand doesn’t stay securely tightened in position. I can be working for half an hour or so when suddenly, the screw mechanisms loosen and the stand begins to sag and collapse. I tried it for a week. I am returning this.

This is such a simple but effective tool. First of all it fits in a project bag for easy travel. The hoops provided are sturdy and hold your stitching tight. The clamp that holds the hoop is very well routed so it holds the screw clasp very securely. The variable height means it works on every seat, even on a soft couch! The adjustment screws all move and screw tightly so it doesn't move one you get it situated. It took about 5 mins to put together - very simple and good instructions.The best thing about this is that you can now stitch 2 handed which is twice the speed of regular stitching while holding the hoop yourself! Its a game changer and must have for any stitcher IMO. Well worth the money!

Loved it more than I even thought I would. Easily put together and very sturdy. Best of all are all the ways it is adjustable; height, angle, distance. Quick and easy access to back of project. Wish I had ordered this sooner.

This works well for under leg for lap stitching. I was hoping I could also place on a desk or table to sit and stitch but it's too high at the lowest setting. I wished that it would lower it more but alas it's not enough. I gave this 4 stars because it works great otherwise but honestly I would pay more for a varnished stand. I don't like the raw wood especially on the lower part of the stand. In order to put it under my leg while sitting the raw edges was snagging my pants so I have to wrap it with a dish cloth. I do like how easy it was to put together and the bonus two hoops that were included. And for the price this is a great deal.

I received the product, notice that one of the screws that hold the circle is defective. I wrote to the customer service and they just responded that they can’t help, and only wished me a good day. Poor customer service….

The stand was easy to assemble and works very well. It came with 2 embroidery hoops as well which are good quality.
