My 2-year-old daughter insists on wearing her fine, curly hair down. After long days of outside play it can get pretty dull and tangled. I use this after a shampoo to get the tangles out and restore the softness and shine. Works great.

I liked the way it smelled but I really don’t mind the scent if it was unscented because I’m trying to reduce toxins in my life. The conditioner is thick coming out. It had more slip than Carina organics conditioner but still not enough to detangler my curly type 3b/c hair.I liked the ingredients listed because they’re non toxic. I checked in the ewg website one ingredient at a time because I don’t trust the EWG stamp of approval. If you or your child has straight hair in need of some conditioning, then this might work for you.

My little kids have been getting crunchy, dried-out hair from swimming lessons. Frequent washing and rinsing was not enough. They've also been growing out their hair, so snaggles are becoming a problem for them.I wanted a regular conditioner product for them, and found this. However, when it arrived, i glanced at the instructions, and noticed it does NOT say to wash hair first, and does NOT tell you to rinse afterward. Oh no, did i order a leave-in conditioner by mistake? So I used as instructed, applying after a rinse-off after swimming and then I did not rinse the product out. Well, that is NOT the way to use this. Their hair had too much residue and looked greasy and dirty. The instructions are bad; it seems to be just a normal conditioner. When i washed first, then applied this to their hair in the shower, then RINSED, it worked as expected. The hair is softer, and easier to comb. I don't know why the instructions on the bottle are so weird.I was surprised that both my little kids complained about it the scent. My son, who's 9, said, "Why does this smell like orange peels that were left in the trash overnight?" And my younger daughter whined, "This smells too strong!" I have never known them to complain about hair product smells before. Now after a week of use, i think it is starting to smell a bit rancid.

The scent is natural and light which is perfect. The conditioner leaves my toddler’s hair soft.

Left my toddlers hair looking dirty. Yes we washed it all out and only applied to the ends.

My daughter has a LOT of really long, thinner hair that gets tangled really easily when we wash it, and she absolutely hates having all the knots brushed through. I started getting separate conditioners for her a few years ago (as opposed to the 2 or 3 in 1 soaps) and it's not as easy as it should be to find a conditioner for her that doesn't contain any of the harmful stuff that's in adult conditioners, and still conditions and detangles really well.My daughter and I both love lavender, so I thought we could give this conditioner a shot. It does smell really nice, but on top of that it does actually condition and detangle my daughters hair pretty well. I usually let the natural conditioners sit on her hair for a few minutes to really soak in, and this seems to make a big difference as to how well the conditioners work-- the same goes for this conditioner as well. With this conditioner, it's definitely less dramatic when I'm brushing out her hair after her showers/baths. That in itself is priceless lol. We're both very happy with how this conditioner worked out. My daughter really likes the smell of her hair after she uses this conditioner. I really like that I can brush through her hair without too much drama, (we still use a natural spray conditioner too) and I love how there's no harmful ingredients to this conditioner. I just with that companies would make their natural products for kids a little more affordable.

I want to start by saying that this conditioner works well. It keep your hair conditioned and soft. The issue is the smell. The smell is so bad that it makes you not want to use it. My spouse likened it to the smell of baby poop. The price is also a big issue. $16 for a stinky conditioner is way too much.

The Zoey conditioner is made specifically for babies but I had to try it as I have extremely thin and fine hair. Most conditioners made for adults don't work well for me. I live in Florida where the summers are steamy hot and the humidity destroys any hairstyle. This creamy conditioner tamed my thin hair and made it much easier to style.I almost gave this four starts only because I think this small bottle is a bit pricey for my budget. However, if you are one who must have hypoallergenic or paraben-free shampoos or conditioners, this is priced at the lower rung of those costly products. Just because it says it's "made for babies," doesn't mean an adult won't enjoy the benefits of this lovely lavender product. Would also make a nice gift to tuck into a baby shower package.
