I use this as edging in tent gear lofts that my business sells. I wanted something sturdier than what I was getting at the fabric store, but this is climbing webbing thickness. A little much for what I'm using it for, but an incredible deal if you need heavy duty webbing.

The listing says it's 0.4" thick which is 1mm and it's actually accurate. It also says it's tightly woven, which will be more compressed, not as fluffy.I buy a lot of webbing, mostly polyester for outdoor use or polypropylene for it's ability to float. Nylon streaches when wet and does not have as high a UV resistance. I do quite a bit of watersports upholstery work.Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joanns, Strapworks, CountryBrook have all been 1.3mm thick. Webbing from sailrite is 1.0 - 1.5mm thick.Now here's the catch, all the listings say their webbing is 0.4" thick except for sailrite. They show the actual correct thickness for each type of webbing they sell, so you know what you're getting.This one is spot on at 0.4" (1mm) thick and strong, prefect for my current project that needs to be thin and strong for indoor use.Hope this helps someone else

I was using this strap to hold insulation up in the ceiling. The strap I received was two pieces. There was a cut in the roll that I did not notice until I unrolled that section. I could not return it because I had already used more than half the roll. For the lengths I needed, there was only about 35 yards of usable length due to the split/cut in the strap. The strap is working well. If you are making a bunch of short lengths the multiple pieces may not matter. If you are looking for one 50 yard continuous piece - look elsewhere.
