I love this product, great quality.. but the 40 gallon roll does not cover the bottom of my 40 gallon tank. I will return and order a bigger size and cut if needed. Seller is great and return process is easy!

In what world does this fit a 40 gallon tank? Not in my world. And not my tank. It's really irritating. I didn't realize this was the same stupid carpet that didn't fit my tank last time I got it and I made the mistake of ordering it again. This company is well known and it should know how to measure tank sizes. That it doesn't fit is just careless, shoddy workmanship. It's way too narrow, so there's a lot of glass showing on either side. But your pet isn't supposed to be directly on top of the glass, which is on top of the heating pad. There's supposed to be a carpet between them and the glass. Super irritating.

Nice quality. Easy clean...but... I don't quite understand how you can order the 40 gallon Zoo Med carpet for the 40 gallon Zoo Med terrarium and have it not fit. Length wise it's perfect. Width wise... it's an easy 1.5-2 inches too short on both sides. If it fit properly, would have be a 5 star hands down. Makes no sense to me...

I have bought these before but I wasn't paying attention when I got this one. These liners are made for the taller 40 gals tanks (which is more narrow) these aren't made for the wider 40 gallon tanks. I should have checked the other reviews so it's my own fault. Other than that this product is great and high quality!

I use the Eco Carpet for my 16 year old Gecko. I've never had any problems with the carpet, and every 6 months I order a new one, but cleaning it is easy, and I'm sure you can have the same carpet for a couple years. The look of it is simple, but you can do a lot with it. I only use it for my Leopard Gecko, because I have my other animals in natural Bio-active enclosures, but that's just my preference, but its by far the easiest substrate I have. In the past, I used it for my Tropical, Boa constrictor, and also had no problems. I order 40 gallon carpet, but cut it down to the perfect size, which is easy. I have no intentions on changing substrate for my gecko.

Exactly as pictured, what you would find in a pet store. It was a little too narrow for my tank but it was the exact measurement as in the pictures.
