I got this to replace the terra-cotta planter dish that I had been using in my tortoise's enclosure. I never liked how that one looked, and the lip was too high.This Zoo Med reptile rock food dish is perfect for use as a soaking pool for my tortoise. Still a little one, at 3 inches, so this is like a luxury pool! Looks great, love the natural look of it since it better matches the setup of the enclosure. Easy to clean, and durable. Would highly recommend.

I use mine to feed my Box Turtles salad or fruit. Its nice to have the bigger size.

My box turtles go right up in there to get their food. Perfect for them. Could also be used for a shallow water dish for box turtles.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I've tried looking for a water dish everywhere for my dragons and they were all either to small and shallow or to deep.This is perfect for them to either drink or soak.they are definitely happy with this purchase.Great quality and easy of use. I guess it's an unusual use, but I purchased this for the frogs living around my patio. I noticed them sitting in pots after I watered flowers, so I thought they needed a small pond. The dish is very shallow and slightly warped so it doesn't sit completely flat. That would be fine if you place it on sand or bark in a reptile cage. I placed it underneath a shrub so it could sit flat enough to retain water. Very shallow so I would like to find one slightly deeper.

This is great! I'm having a great time feeding my Russian Tortoise from it. He has a habit of pooping in it while eating but I'm glad he manages to crawl into/onto it.

Perfect, finally a bowl wide enough but shallow enough for my skink, he won't struggle to fit himself in or get out. Lovely a smooth for easy cleaning, and nice and tough so no chipping or sharp edges
