History
A tangzhuang (literally: "Chinese suit") is a type of Chinese jackets that originated at the end of the Qing dynasty (1644–1911).
In modern times it has been adopted by many ordinary people. They are often worn by men, although women wear them as well.

I initially bought it for cosplay, but when it arrived, the quality was crazy good, it's actually super comfy, feels soft on the skin and it's even pretty warm, so I've been using it casually outside of cosplay as well!

I bought a Medium, hoping it would shrink upon washing and drying in the dryer. It did not. I should have ordered a Small, but it would not have been delivered until January. So, keep that in mind. If you are a man, the fit should be perfect. If you are a woman, size down.

I bought this to wear with a red satin skirt. Looks cute as a set. I usually wear women’s XL. So I ordered XL as this (I assumed) was Chinese made and all their stuff runs small. However a L would have fit just fine.

I’m extremely happy with this purchase this Kung Fu jacket is as good as it gets perfect fabric and weight not thin not to thick it’s perfect medium weight and the size medium was perfectly true to western sizes in my opinion.. Very traditional looking and feeling.. I will be buying more colors but for now I’m the man in black.. IP Man eat your heart out son! lol

This is a fantastic shirt, it looks and feels great so I'm giving it 5 starts. I wish the buttons went down a little lower. I always need an undershirt with this one as any time I raise my hands, my belly button says hi. And I have very long arms, and still need to bring the white cuffs in or they reach past my fingers. Still, totally worth it. With slight tailoring this is a 6 star purchase

order one size larger than normal..maybe even two. the length and arms fit perfectly....but the chest and back are a bit tight. I usually wear a large top and ordered an xl .

Love it. I was on several occasions mistaken for a fat white guy in an Asian style coat.....they weren't mistaken of course, it was me thinking that I looked like anything else. But it is a stellar coat and gets great looks being worn by a man in my state. A+ - I would definitely take it on a second date.

I bought this as a Halloween Costume, but plan to wear it around the house and if I ever get back into martial arts, can use it. I wore it all day on Halloween and into the night handing out candy.. was perfectly comfortable like a loose shirt. The only thing to note is the size it. I'm usually a 42S in jacket and wear shirts that are 32/33" in sleeve length.. I ordered am XL based on the reviews and it fit comfortably loose. (normally can wear a M when I want to be more form fitting, but L as standard). The sleeves were alot longer but I folded it up one extra time and it fit perfectly like a loose cotton jacket. I highly recommend. Delivery was on time as well!

Like other reviewers have said, this was a great item. It is like old school cotton quality, not the cheap stuff. Very nicely made, fits well, not too heavy, not too light. Feels like something you would find in an vintage shop - i.e. not cheapified. Highly recommend.
