Like it .for the price it's perfect for what I needed it for. Was doing a small project and didn't want to spend a lot on money for this project. This item worked great 👍. Easily used. Should last many years. Should fit budgets.

With this setup you get two contour gauges that are an excellent value for the price. The locks work pretty good and it holds the contour well. The two sizes at 10" and 6" work well together. I would have rather had a higher resolution (meaning more "fingers" to catch finer curves) but for the vast majority of wood working this is just fine.Being that you end up with two for the price of one here and overall they seem to hold up well, you can buy with confidence. They are a tiny bit flimsy so I'm not sure kicking them into place or dropping them is a good idea as you might damage them, but if you use them as prescribed I think they will hold up just fine.

The contour gauge is a great tool. There are two in the package. They are a very durable plastic and have a lock on the vertical bar which is a great feature to lock in the contour for transfer. The type of tool that is very versatile. You can't go wrong for the money, especially when there are two sizes.

I really wanted to like this, it works on straight edges, but as soon as you try a rounded edge, it unlocks the tool.

I just built a custom bench in the backseat of the truck using these. I would not have been able to do it in 30 minutes without this tool. It was super easy to duplicate the shapes of the console and seats with this and transfer it with a felt pen on plywood and just cut it out with a jigsaw. This would have taken me hours without this tool... And I can guarantee it will not be the last time I reach for it.

There are times when tracing is a whole lot easier than measuring. Just need this to work properly a couple of times and it's paid for itself.
