Excellent addition to my collection of tools. Certainly worth a purchase. If you have rough ground I recommend a bigger wheel but for smooth to semi smooth surface this is the tool. The distance display will measure backwards as well

It works, not sure nor am I concerned with precision accuracy. The only bad thing I can come up with is if the wheel turns backwards so do the numbers. A lock on the numbers to prevent that would be nice. The good, it seems to measure well, folds up nicely, light weight, comes with a back pack carry bag, and some orange flags. I play frisbee with my dog and needed it to roughly measure out certain yardages and use the orange flags as markers. Hopefully give me a competitive edge.

This could easily had been perfect other than the fact that no matter how tight you make this with the extensions, it still tends to slide back causing inaccurate measurements.

Not the greatest quality, but for light duty / occasional use more than adequate.If you need something for everyday or rugged use, I would recommend something else, but if you just have a few projects or just need for occasional use around the house, to me it is a fair value.

This thing is more like a toy. Sure, it's lightweight and compact, but it's cheaply made. The shaft is attached to the base by a single rivet. Given how thin the wall of the aluminum shaft is, it didn't take much torque from being rolled on a bumpy lawn for the rivet to break off on the very first use. For the money, I expect better. I returned this and paid a little more for another brand (it's the fluorescent green-colored "commercial grade" one). The quality was night and day!
