The ZSHJGJR 7 inch archery bow stabilizer is a good quality product. This is a lightweight aluminum ally bow stabilizer. This stabilizer is easy to install on your compund bow. Being lightweight, it doesn't make the bow heavy or throw of fthe balance of the bow. After years without using a bow stabilizer, I decided to try one, and I can say I notice the difference. Without the stabilizer the vibration from bow string could be felt in my hand and arm. This made my shoots not as true making my shots not as accurate as they could be. Not to mention the physical stress to my hand and arm was getting very uncomfortable as the day went on. I can say that this stabilizer has a made a great difference and it will definitely be a perment addition to my bow.

Ok so I finally had the opportunity to test this dampener out but not a ton. Did a three shot test at 20y. Shot one was with the ZSHJGJR dampener (keeping in mind that I haven’t shot my bow in over a year so it isn’t really sighted in as it should be). Shot hit low and to the right. Felt good, seemed quieter but not sure if any different from the old smaller one that came with my bow. On to shot two…. This one with the original dampener that the bow came with (notably shorter and not as thick). This shot same distance same target. Well I don’t really know what happened here but it hit high center (ok so it went over the target but we won’t talk about that, I had a good backstop and took full advantage of it). What I did notice is that the bow had a bit more shake on release and it was a bit louder. Last shot was with the ZSHJGJR again and what I was feeling and hearing was accurate. Softer feeling on the release and a little quieter. My test was short and sweet (had to cut it short do to a recent substantial surgery and I probably shouldn’t have been doing this test anyways but ya know, sometimes you gotta do stuff right???) but it did prove to me to be enough to determine that I prefer the ZSHJGJR to what came with the bow. Seems to be a decent price too
