These are easy to recommend for a road bike. They look nice, are sturdy, and function flawlessly. I have a modern (2015) road bike, and these fit perfectly and work as well as two other sets of skewers I’ve had on that bike over the years. Highly recommended.

I did a lengthy search to find a good one for my hybrid Trek fx2 disc. This one fits perfectly. Cannot talk about longevity, but red looks pretty cool on my black frame

These are great replacement bicycle wheel skewers. They have a nice anodized red finish and work well.

I didn’t weigh these skewers or anything significant but I can say that they feel sturdy, they went on seamlessly and haven’t had any issues.
