This stone makes great pizza, crispy and chewy, not soggy. It’s a good size, any smaller would be for a small pizza. I would even like it to be just a little bigger. It’s very heavy and well made. I’ve used it twice and had no problems. The hardest part is getting the pre made pizza on to the hot stone. You need more hands.

Product is Zulay Pizza Stone. Works very well but now have stains from sauces on the stone which I can't remove. Looks to be permanent markings & distracts from the stone's original appearance. Any recommendations as to possible removal of the stains? Would appreciate a comment.

I've used baking stones for years. The one I'd used for over 6 years finally cracked in half right after Christmas. I baked a few things on baking sheets and the bottoms burned terribly. I'm not sure how anyone can cook on a baking sheet and have good results.I immediately ordered this pizza stone to replace my broken one. It is a really well made, heavy stone. It's a nice size and seems to heat up relatively quickly and evenly. My only complaint is that initially it has had a really bad odor. The first time I used it, it smelled up most of the main floor of our house. The kitchen was unbearable. I had to open the door and windows even though it was 15° outside.I reread the instructions to see if it had mentioned any specific pre-washing instructions I had overlooked. Alas, it only said wash it with water and let it dry, which I had done. I will add, they included a nice white scraper to use for washing the stone.I've now reluctantly used it about 3 times and I'm happy to say the smell has mostlydissipated. Hopefully after using it a few more times it will be long gone.I would purchase it again. The large size, weight and how well my baked goods have turned out was worth the initial smell.

I ordered my pizza stone for the family because I had one at my job when I worked at a deli. I am extremely in love with it and it makes it easy for us to have pizza night! It’s easy to clean. And it now has its permanent spot in our oven. I’m really happy I bought this. I feel I got such a great value for the low price I paid!

This pizza stone has a definite smell that ruins the smell of the pizza. It does not ruin the taste but just the smell while it’s baking.

Do not try to cook a pizza or calzone with out one of these. Gets the dough done and makes it crisp.

Nice stone that is decently thick and definitely holds a fair amount of heat for baking pizza, bread, or whatever. I bought two to line an entire level of my oven and had to chop off about 1/2†with a diamond bit and an angle grinder.
