It's Spring skiing conditions in the Rocky Mtns of Colorado! You can be skiing high-speed cruisers on freshly groomed snow up at 11000-12000 feet and hit mashed potato slush at 9000-10000 feet and come to a quick stop if you aren't paying attention. I decided to try this no-iron wax, despite some of the griping reviews I had read. I put it in my coat pocket and headed out. No application until noonish, after skiing a couple of hours. Take the wax OUT of the container (like the instructions say), rub it on from tips to tails, then follow with a buff using the cork. I put the slightest effort in and it went on fine. Even filled in a few rock scrapes. My friend had some other brand, in blue wax and after one run, we pulled over at the top of the lift and put this yellow on her skis instead. This stuff is GREAT! I could totally tell the difference in how well my skis were gliding. It's perfect for using on the fly. I live at a ski area. I ski a LOT. This is the perfect stuff to just carry in your pocket and throw on in the middle of your Spring ski day!

I was able to get about 10 runs in on a 40° air temp day. I gave it 4 âï¸ because applying it is difficult. It’s like a push pop and you have to really apply pressure to the bottom of it to stay in place. I think the applicator should be like a deodorant where you twist and it stays.

I have all the different temps of these waxes. They are the best rub on wax I’ve ever used and I snowboard a lot! I just rub some on before boarding for the day, according to temperature, and it becomes a very nice, fast, smooth ride.

I’ve never used this before and now I won’t ski spring without it. It made a huge difference. I put my skis on saw horses, warmed them up a bit with a hair dryer then spread on the wax. Took about 20 minutes per pair. Super easy to do!

Went boarding at Squaw Valley on July 4th this year and used the ZumWax warm temp rub on wax and it was amazing. Even though the air temp was low 80s, I never had the moment where the snow just grabbed the board. It pretty much felt the whole time like it was mid-winter skiing even though I was in shorts.I decided to really look into finding a good warm weather wax after a spring skiing day earlier this year where I was cruising straight on some flats at a high speed when my board was "grabbed" by the snow and I flipped over the front of board and slammed head / neck into the ground (which left me with stiff neck for 2 weeks). The next trip after my "front flip" was the Squaw July 4th trip and I did nothing to prep the base besides using the Zum rub on wax, and it made all the difference even though the conditions were warmer.

The product is supposed to keep the skis moving over wet snow it worked somewhat but not great

So easy to apply on the go and kept us on the mountain longer for those warm spring days. Plus, small enough to carry with you.

The cork rubbing top doesn’t seem to polish effectively, and applying the wax is difficult since it gets pushed back up during application.

The application doesn't work well at all and very annoyed by first try. There was no way to hold the wax exposed for application, everytime I tried to rub on my skis it would go back in the tube. Wax is probably fine but this applicator is crap. Better off with a just a slab of wax in zip lock bag
