How to use pasta & vegetable cooker:
Fill the stainless steel insert with vegetables or pasta and boil as is.
When boiled up, pull up with stainless steel insert.
(*When cooking pasta with the insert, please use it for pasta at least 0.07 inch (1.8 mm). )
For aspara or other purposes, hook the insert hook to the pan, boil the hard part of the aspara first, then put the insert into the pan completely and boil the whole body, then boil it to a uniform hardness.

I initially bought this pot to prevent burning the tip of pasta when I throw it into the medium size pot. Then I got creative and using it for: shimmering veggies, hard boiled eggs, tempura(long stick) frying, odang soup, and sweet potato! But pricy but it has great size(not bulky) and functionality for many different types of cooking. The pot is made in Japan- based on using many Japanese kitchen products, material’s quality is never a problem.

Made in Germany but ships from Japan? Either way, it's a great product and the quality matches my other zwilling products. If I lost this today I'd order the same from the same seller with no worries at all.

A great steamer…I bought 2 because I liked the basket design….but they need a vent on the lid, like a pressure cooker, as the lid bounces loudly when a boil is achieved. Wish I could attach the sound! Irritating, but great steamer.

As soon as i took it out of the worn out box, the pot had water spots all around and scratches and discolorations inside the pot and exterior too. As soon as i saw it, i put it back and then returned it.

Made a pasta, and after one use, bottom of the pot got discolorations. So i used Bar Keepers Friend to clean. It cleaned the discoloration however there are white spots that I can’t get rid of.

I bought this for canning in the summer when I don't have enough to do a big batch in my big canner. It worked out great for tomatoes. I also did some corn on the cop in this pot. It's a uniquely shaped pot that comes in handy for different uses.

My family and I buy a lot of products from Amazon, so it's always a delight to find a top quality item at a bargain price. If you are a pasta lover, in a family of 2-4 (i.e. 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids) this pasta pot is perfect for you. It's a great time-saver, as it heats water faster than big, wide pots, and it saves carrying those big (and consequently heavy) pots over to the sink to drain into a colander/sieve (and especially useful if you want to reserve some of the pasta water). I'm very impressed with the quality of this pan and I know it will last for years.

Der Topf an sich ist wirklich sehr gut, allerdings sollte man wissen, dass es von Vorteil ist, den Einsatz möglichst gut mit den Stangen zu bestücken. Macht nur ein paar Spargel (weniger als 15 Stangen) in den Einsatz, dann bieten sie sich gegenseitig weniger halt und sacken zusammen. Sonst top.
