Easy Installation:
First: Clean the edge of the car door/windshield/headlamp cover with neutral detergent and wait until dry.
Second: Release the sealant from the release paper and press it sufficiently around the pinch weld for a complete contact.
Please Note:
When properly positioned, the tape should be continuously attached to the pinch weld before you seal it with the other coupling part. The purpose of the sealer is to provide for a watertight seal. In cold weather conditions it is best to warm the tape prior to attempting the installation, as this will soften the tape allowing for better workability.

Used this to reseal my headlights I rebuilt with new lenses. Longest part was cleaning off the old glue from the housing. Baked them @215 for roughly 7-10 min. Checked and pressed the lens on further and put it in for another 5 min or so. A month later no issues, no moisture and is holding up well.

Very good quality, soft and easy to form, sticks well. Bought to reseal my headlights but it's useful for all kinds of automotive applications, such as attaching door panel vapor barriers, and creating gaskets for parts that attach via studs through exterior body panels such as most automotive taillights. Quality honestly seems as good as the 3M stuff I've used before. Would buy again.

I got new plastic lenses for my headlights and used this sealant to seal them up. While the sealant itself worked great, the packaging could have been better. It arrived smashed in many spots and was no longer in a consistent bead. The paper tape that its wrapped in is also of poor quality and tends to tear off in little pieces rather than cleanly separating in one piece. Other than that I am very satisfied. I was able to seal both of my headlights and I still have half of the roll left.

This is something you have to buy when retrofitting your headlights/tail lights to get them to seal back up properly. I made the mistake of not using this stuff when I opened up my headlights for the 1st time and ended up with all kinda of condensation in them. So I ordered this stuff and opened my headlights back up and put this stuff on them before putting the front back on and now I have crystal clear headlights! Be careful because this stuff is super sticky but it works really good. I had enough for both headlights and then had a good bit leftover, probably enough for a 3rd headlight.

I used it to install new headlight lenses. Great product, easy to use. It is supposed to work without heat gun or oven, and I can see this to be the case. My headlights lenses were very large (2008 Audi TT) so I figure it would require too much pressue. I found that this product becomes very malleable at around 140F. I used a heat gun to get it to 140F and it made the job so easy. A great product. Next step is to test the seal against moisture.
