I purchased these garlic heads to be placed in an oversized old world style ceramic platter on my kitchen island along with faux artichokes. It is a nice assortment of red and white heads but to me they do not look real. The main reason they look fake is that where the top of the garlic is cut it is tied with a string. Had they finished it off differently maybe that would have made the difference. If you see them from a distance some can be fooled but as you get closer you can see that they are fake. If one was to touch and put light pressure on it they would dent and not go back. I’ve decided to use real garlic heads like I’ve done in the past and over time they dry out on their own.
