Mounting procedures for initial customer
1. Measure the door panel width and the gap under the door, choose the right brush sweep style.
2. Cut the brush and aluminum housing accordingly, fix the the aluminum part to the door panel, loose, not strongly.
3. Insert in the brush strips one by one, press the aluminum housing ends gently with pincer pliers.
4. Tune up and down the sweep, push and pull the door several times, make sure the brush sweep touch the ground completely, then fix the screws strong and tight.

I went with the 3 inch brush, I should have ordered shorter, but I was able to work it out. Easy assembly. I like the double brushes. I used my own hardware, since I mounted these above my 10 foot wide metal garage roll up door. I used self drilling #10 screws to go into the frame rails. Works great to keep cold drafts out. Fast shipping and packaged good.

This door sweep was the 4th or 5th type I attempted to weatherproof a problem exterior door. It succeeded where the others all failed. I had a 32" exterior basement door swinging out over an uneven surface. Because this product is screwed into the door, it isn't going anywhere when you open the door. (in contrast other weather stripping sweeps would pop off when they hit resistance on opening the door) The "brush" portion is long enough to cover significant gaps and the bristles have enough "give" to accommodate sweeping over an uneven surface.The metal bars cut easily to size but avoid the mistake I made of attempting a cut with the bristles attached - bad idea as the bristles vs. miter saw blade made a huge mess. But the brush portion slides easily in/out of the track, so just cut the metal bar with your saw and use tin snips to cut the little top strip of the bristle piece.

I used to keep debris out of a building that has roll up doors. This allows a nice debris free door that does not hinder operation.

I ordered this item twice, first order was single brush not double like requested (sent back) The second order was shorted by one piece, (sent back). Product does look good, just kept having packaging issues.

I found this an easy item to install and it is effective at stopping the draft between the garage door top and the inside of the door frame. Ours is a double door and, depending on the temperature, it can sometimes have a 3/4" gap between the door frame and the garage door in the middle of the span of the door. This product effectively closes that gap.

You can see the proof is in the pictures. Almost all the light is blocked so I know no birds or bugs will get in through the 2†door gap.The screws were useless, but that didn’t matter.

Great quality, easy to cut to length. The brushes are quite stiff, I used on my roll up door and they add a bit of resistance but definitely worth it for the extra sealing to keep birds and critters out.

Excellent quality for use as a door sweep for both style garden gates to keep leaves and some sm animals from entering thru gaps in gate
