We ordered a couple rolls to cover a two car and single car garage. Found it easy to roll out and cut to exact sizing needed. Easy to slip in our garage door. Really excited at how warm our garage is staying during our cold winter. Hoping it will in turn stay cooler in the hot summer. Highly recommend this product.

It’s easy to cut and install , we have a 16ft door , it was more than enough. We cut a piece for our car to reflect heat and put a piece in the top of our freezer , incredible for those , would be good for any freezer or cooler

I would have returned item, but I had to cut product down from 24-inches to 16-inches to fit my garage door sections. The product comes with small tabs of 3m tape; approximately 1-inch x 2-inch... I had 18 taps per section of garage door. The tape securely attached to my garage doors, but would not secure the product from falling off. Finally giving up, I removed the tabs from garage door, and it took off the coating and now have to repair. I actually ordered some rolls of commercial tape, but realized the issue is the adhering to the product, peals right off....

The adhesive patches help hold the insulation in place while it is taped. Not sure how well this product will insulate my garage door, which already has insulation inside the panels. But it should help. Not enough tape is supplied, so you'll need at least another roll of tape (cost around $13 for a roll). I hope I'm not wasting my money or time.

Let’s start off by saying I’m very happy with my results. The foil insulation seems high quality and I’m hopeful it will make a difference this winter! I appreciated the little double sided tape pieces, they helped hold the insulation on the door while I taped. Speaking of tape…. If you look at the imagines in the product description compared to mine you will notice that I have an old wooden garage door and the pictures show a modern metal one with horizontal bars at every section. It appears the product is just sitting in the slots of that door where as I had to cut and fully tape each and every panel on mine. I needed an additional roll of foil tape which set me back $15 for a 50 meter roll of quality foil tape (the stuff they give you is meh but works). I have plenty of foil material left over so I may do some more insulating in my garage such as the window and man door but for right now I’m just happy the garage door is done. The whole project took me about 4 and a half hours to complete. I recommend cutting a panel of insulation for a single square then using that as a template to cut the rest. Make sure your door is the same size rectangles and cut accordingly. Same for tape, I needed 32 vertical pieces and 32 horizontal pieces to fully tape up my 16 panels. I’m happy with the results and would buy this kit again if the need arose

We’ll see how it goes in the dog days of summer, but so far, with the sun shining on the aluminum garage door, I’m getting a 20 degree drop in temperature on the door, with the insulation installed.
