This is the perfect fitting for my application. The course thread fit the existing threads and the finer threads were great for a stronger nut.

Tried to use these as a replacement for some ARP studs that wouldnt be available for a couple weeks trying to help someone out. While carefully assembling and using a torque wrench to evenly tighten down all the studs in a star pattern like your supposed to they all stripped around 20 to 30 ft lbs of torque while it called for 35 ft lbs on that size hardware. They should EASILY be able to get over torqued to 50 or 60 ft lbs without stripping the threads. I had to use a combination of heat, drilling, extractors etc to get them all out after the nuts pulled the threads off the studs. no threads were damaged on the hardware store nuts, it was all the studs so they were obviously a MUCH poorer material. I used one of the original studs and was able to torque it to 75 ft lbs and the threads on it never deformed.Had to wait another 2 weeks and costs me a couple thousand in lost time using this garbage. Unless your hanging feathers from them be forewarned
