It is just an eye bolt with machine threads I used to buy at my Westlake Hardware store. But--it was a challenge trying many times on Amazon to find this size!! Hardware is hard to find sometimes on line since one can not just walk up and view it as I once did before the virus. The best way to find this item is to click onto any similar eye bolt & visit the store Amazon gets their items from. I would end up getting the screw threaded eye bolts rather than the machine thread even though I used the bolt chart. One day we will be able to post a picture of what you want and the computers will take you to it--maybe, but a good idea. A nice plated eye bolt & will purchase again.

They come with their own nut, so unless you need two for each eyelet, don't order nuts. Baring down on these eyelets will lead to the eye squeezing shut. I used these for a custom-made clothes line frame and they are holding up to the tension and weather.

These work great for making catfish jugs. These are hard to find in hardware stores and are expensive if making 20 so or more at a time.

Product delivered on time. Very pleased! I purchased the eye bolts along with star knob bolts for my trailer. I purchased a ramp kit and needed my ramps to stay in place on trailer until needed. These eye bolts along with the knob hand screw nuts made it easy to keep the ramps in place and easy to unscrew the knob nuts when needs the ramps. When buying the bolts make sure you nut size fits the bolt. To have easy access to something would suggest using knob star hand tighten nuts. Thanks for having what I needed Amazon and seller.

Many thanks to the first reviewer, who noted that the "6 inch" length is overall length. I was looking for a 5 inch shaft, and that's what this has. The overall length is just under 5 15/16". The inside diameter of the eye is about 9/16: The outside diameter of the eye is just under 1 inch. Of note, each eye bolt comes with its own nut on the shaft, even though the picture doesn't show a nut on the shaft. I tried several 1/4-20 nuts from another vendor on these shafts and they all fit fine.
