Purchased 40 of these to make an infeed/outfeed roller system for my table saw. These are the perfect size and roll freely with no effort. Having purchased 40 of them I can say that their manufacturing is consistent. They will never individually need to support a lot of weight since the weight will be distributed over so many rollers, but when I tried I couldn't get a roller to jam when pressing down on it.. They fit my design needs perfectly. A little pricy compared to the competition, but I think it was worth it. The measurements shown on Amazon are accurate.

These were perfect for building roller platforms that can be used on either side of my various saw tables. Their uniform size and design allowed me to build a wide platform that allows the material to move in any direction, not just laterally like some roller stands. The omni-directional nature of these allow for large plywood size panels to be moved with ease into the correct position for cutting and trimming.Note: these do not come with mounting hardware.

Those of you who have worked to manhandle an 8 foot sheet of plywood on a small table saw know what I mean. The cut needs to stay straight to the blade and that massive sheet tends to evade efforts to keep it in line. I've seen aids that have a roller bar to help with this, but those are of little help when the sheet needs to be adjusted laterally. That's why I picked these up: replace that roller bar with a line of these and your plywood sheet can be far more easily shifted into just the right position before you start the cut! This set has enough roller balls to have such supports both before and after the cuts as well as to the side. These are bigger than I expected..(I wasn't paying enough attention). Just the ball is one inch and the housing sized accordingly, but that does not negatively affect my application. In fact these are very robust - I'm considering how they might be used as rolling feet. As for noise, these are steel rolling on steel and the housing makes a little echo chamber...they are not quiet. But a lot more quiet than the table saw! If noise were an issue, you could add a rubber damper (just holding the housing in your hand makes a vast improvement).

I repurposed a farmhouse kitchen table into a workbench and needed to be able to move it around my garage. Due to its size traditional wheel casters would raise the table too high to work with. These roller bearings are low profile and very sturdy. I placed two of them under each leg of the table and now it moves around the garage with very little effort. Very easy to attach or if you're just needing to move some heavy furniture around, they are easy to slip under temporarily.

I think these roller ball bearings are good quality. The flange is strong and sturdy and I fastened them down to a wood base with no issues. The bearing runs smooth in the cage and it is held in firmly. You can give the bearings a spin with your hand and they will spin without any chatter and won’t hang up. These state they are rated at 400 lbs. but I’m not putting even near that much weight on them. So far, they are working great with no problems. My first impression with these roller ball transfer bearings is they have a good feel to them. They are not flimsy. I think these will be quite durable over time.

These roll smooth and have a nice flange to mount them. They could be quieter but in most use cases the noise probably wont be an issue.

I built a simple table the same height as my table saw and covered it with these roller balls. When I'm cutting long pieces of plywood and don't have anyone to help catch the cut pieces this outfeed table with rollers works great. The wood rolls across the table smoothly and with no resistance.I also found that same table to be useful for painting crafts. I sat a round piece of plywood on the rollers with a hand turned bowl on that. I can paint one area of the bowl or whatever project I'm painting. Then when it's time to move to a different area the plywood can be readjusted without touching my painted project.
