These buckets are the perfect size for soaking hot tub filters. Use 3/4 water 1/4 white vinegar. Problem solved for me!!! Didn't use the lids.

I thought the lid didn't fit, but it turns out you have to jam the lid on then pull on a tab to remove the edges of it to make it work correctly. My husband says I paid too much, but it's black and fits where I need it to. I think this will work well to store food scraps for the compost pile.

Just what I was looking for. I use these buckets to store cat litter in small amounts. Two notes: A mallet is required to seal the lid. Considerable shipping cost.

Ttop does not seal, it is NOT Leak proof, Looks poorly made could’ve probably got a better bucket at the dollar tree. If you need it to have a seal look somewhere else because the lid just sits on top of the bucket.

The size is what I was needing, so great there.... but 2 of 3 of the set pack i ordered; the buckets had a couple blemishes or marks imbedded in plastic (I couldn't remove!)

I use it to store things from the yard that might contain a smell for a short time before disposing of the waste at a later time. It keeps the smell contained.
