Since one gas valve on my JennAir 740-0141 was not passing enough volume, I started shopping for a replacement. Manufacturer wanted almost $100 for one valve, and other sources were $60 plus, each. I found these and at the price decided to buy a set of four. I figured that since one failed, the rest were probably on their last legs, too. My old valves had a longer ignitor flame spike, but I was able to simply swap them from the old valves. Only one screw each, less than a minute to do it. They 'probably' would have worked with the shorter spikes, but since it was so easy I swapped them out.These have a 1.05mm orifice, where my old ones had 1.02mm. No noticeable difference between the heat output, since of course, the sizes are so close.

I would give these a 5 star rating because they were pretty much an exact replacement HOWEVER, the orifices on the new ones are about 1/4†short. And they have a different thread.. seems like they would would work. Still hoping I can find a replacement orifice that will work for my grill.

I was a bit concerned because the valves have no reference numbers to go by so I had to order by description and visual only. The valves are 1/4 the price of the OEM so it's worth the gamble. The problem is I ordered them four days ago and it'll be three more days before I get them. They shipped UPS ground and arrived my city very early Saturday morning. Being UPS they are just going to sit there until Monday morning. I'm surprised UPS still does that archaic crap.

Description of the valve was very good. Wish more sellers would do the same. Had to use these valves because my old ones where discontinued. Had to do some modifications to the grill, but they worked great.

The product came without one of the screw holes to attach it to the grill. One side was right the other was only half way drilled out, can’t even use it!

Va benissimo. E' leggermete piu corto dell'originale (lo stacco della scintilla avviene circa 1 cm scarso più indietro) ma funziona benissimo. Ho già pensato di comperarne un altro per sostituire una valvola senza piezoelettrico, ovviamente dopo aggiornamento del foro nel BBQ.
