The big question mark was when I received the item, removed it from the box and realized the black outer area was separated from the white inner area.In order to make very thing as one you have to screw the black outer area to the white inner area. The O-ring on the outer section of the cap that will be attached to the gas tank lid, spins all the way around whenever you are trying to tighten the cap.in addition the cap only makes two twists to tighten which i don't think is tight enough.This product makes no sense. Save your money, continue to use your original gas cap because I am quite sure it is much much better than this or drive up to a local auto parts store and fit one on your car then decide.

My car haved older gas tank cap I purchased this and let me tell you is perfect. Installation take one minute and don't need experience for this job.
