The cap is snug so it won't fall off, yet easy enough to remove. Previous reviews showed the magnet used to hold it onto the fuel door as glued into place. I guess its been redesigned using a screw. No more fear of losing the magnet into the fuel tank.

I’ve never been comfortable with an “open†fuel port as found on some newer vehicles. This true for diesels in particular given the extreme cost should you inadvertently introduce gasoline into the tank. I love the fit (very snug and secure) and also the fact that the port is now clearly marked diesel - both in writing and by color. This was a great add for peace of mind coming at very little cost.

You don’t want to accidentally put gas in your diesel tank so put this on even though your truck does not use a gas cap this still fits in nicely and may prevent you from putting in gas or def by mistake. I am new to diesel so I bought this to make sure I don’t put in gas accidentally

This intended use is good. The cap fits just as describe, but in my case it is on there pretty good. Its almost stuck like. I just have to shimmy it off. Like I said its better than not having a cap.
