I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu. The check engine light kept coming on and a mechanic suspected the problem was a worn gas cap. This new cap was easy to install but it does fit tight. I had the code cleared on the car and have not had it occur since. This product definitely did what I needed it to do.

It nicely fit my car when i needed a new one, but after a year i had to replace this one because it caused a service engine warning.... all in all it ended up costing bunches....

Needed a new gas cap with connection line. My local auto place had one but not with line. This was exactly as the one I had. Price is a bit less the auto stores in my area. Overall the perfect buy.UPDATEI've had this for about a year when the "Check loose gas cap warning" came on, took off cap, put it back on and a very short time same warning. I bought a another gas cap from local auto parts store-cost more but solved the issue. Guess this cap has a life of about a year.

This cap was ordered for a 02 Bravada. I still have the original fuel filler neck on it and it was the original cap. This cap fit perfectly and seals well, the only issue was the plastic pin was too large for the new hole and broke off trying to just put it in which is a little frustrating. The last cap I ordered for a 07 Trailblazer had no issues at all so I took off one star just for that because the point was to also replace that piece so my wife does not forget the cap at the gas station. But otherwise it's a perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost of the dealer.
