Worst product ever does not work actually makes things worse. It took my blade from having a edge. Thatbut i a little streaky to having a charaded edge which is going to creak like crazy in the morning. I'm going to be forced to buy new blades now.I tried different varying pressures. Just smooth it out. It just keeps getting worse.

What a great alternative to buying new wipers. Works well

I used the item but it was very hard to do one clean slide to trim the blade. So It destroyed my wiper and the second one it took too much of the blade so I end up getting new windshield wipers.

I didn't notice it trim at all which was the main reason I purchased it. That being said after using it my wipers did appear to work better.

Product works for about two seconds then doesn’t cut at all. Skips over the whole blade and makes a crappy cut.

This is a great idea. I usually change my family's wipers once a year, right before the snowy winter months. The salty grime gets all over the windshield and the view can get very poor without good blades. I'm talking about 5 vehicles in my case. Some get used more than others but I want everyone safe, so we go through gallons of wiper fluid also. The ones that I'm always hesitating about are the rear wipers on the SUVs You want to keep that window clear but it doesn't get used as much as the front wipers. This year I'm going to try this "pencil sharpener" style tool and see if it will help me get another year's use from those wipers. With five vehicles, if those hold up and I can get two years out of a set of blades it will save me a ton of money. Now, here is my only concern. Other than your intuition, there are no instructions included on how to use it, how many times can I use it or is it necessary to treat the blades before or after I use it? The only instructions that are included are in German and are of no use to me. There is no customer support website. All of the information you are going to get is on the Amazon site. It does give you a pretty good idea of what to do, but I didn't realize how important that Amazon page is until I opened the packet. At the price it sells for it is a bargain if it does what it claims to. I expect it to give me at least another season with my blades after I shave off the exposed edge. I would feel more confident if I knew what I was doing, but I'm giving it a shot and so far so good.

I had high hopes for this windshield wiper repair tool, but it didn’t live up to expectations. While it’s supposed to restore old wiper blades, the results were disappointing. After using it, the wipers were slightly better but still left streaks on the windshield. The tool itself feels cheaply made, and it’s not as easy to use as advertised. You have to be very precise, or you risk making the wipers worse. For the time and effort involved, you might be better off just buying new blades.
