I wish I carried change, or gold coins, or some currency of some sort to put in it because its so cool for something just like that! I put 25 .50 caliber lead balls in it for simpler containment in my blackpowder possibles bag. Very cool - well done

I read a lot of other reviews that talk about how stiff and unmoving the leather is. I guess everyone who bought it doesn't know how to take care of leather. It's good quality stuff, it just needs a little love. Two minutes with a sponge full of Neatsfoot Oil and this thing is butter soft. Take care of your leather people, and it will take care of you. It's now beautiful and supple and should hold up for a long time.

Leather is too tough - not soft - making it impossible to put in pocket. Has no give and comes undone due to tough leather.

It’s made out of extremely hard leather. I bought it for a friend for their change which is all over the place usually. This pouch is hard leather and not easy to close so change still falls out. Not the best pouch for change.. not sure what someone would use it for. Maybe stones 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸Would not recommend and would not buy again.

I plan on using this as part of a costume so it's functionality isn't crucial however it is functional as long as the items are heavy or large. Don't want them popping out the top or the pouch flipping over. Noted however that for this price range there are a lot of really nice leather costume pouches out there.Leather is nice enough. It definitely needs wearing in. I like the string system it has, the little leather bit is there to hold the bag closed when cinched up, though it doesn't apply much stopping power. From there the strings form a loop from the leather bit to the bead, or if you pull the bead down, two separate leather strings to tie around.
