This item help make stair steps of 7 steps. Uses hard wood for the bottom an angering the hard wood to the aluminum stringers. Then I can screw/glue in the planking on top of the hard wood from the bottom of the hard wood into the planking.

I wish that these were a high grade stainless, but they aren't any stronger than the cheap, zinc version. The only benefit is rust prevention. Time will tell...

These fanged elevator bolts were used to secure new sheets of plywood decking to a pontoon boat. The fangs bite into the wood to keep the head of the bolt from spinning while you are under the boat (swearing) trying to tighten them down. The head lies flat and flush to the surface so it wont be evident under the new carpet and is wide enough to span the joint between boards. Be aware that shipping is via USPS so expect a longer delivery time.
