I bought this because my room stays absolutely meat locker freezing in summer when the AC is in use and feels like the third rung of hell in the winter when the heater is on. The rest of the house is just the opposite. I have tried closing my vent but that doesn't even help. I was hoping this would solve the problem and send the air more evenly throughout the house but I am afraid to cut the duct work to install this since I am in a rental. I was hoping once I had it, I could figure out another way to utilize it, but so far I cannot think of any other way except cutting the ducts and installing it that way. So for now, I just shiver or sweat and lament at what might have been.
