When it says it will push that many CFM, they mean it! This is a very powerful fan that is built to last......

I bought this inline blower to replace a more modest model that was only rated for 106 cfm in free air and just wasn't doing the job. This blower is strong enough I only have to run it at half-speed (love the separate speed control!) so the noise is not a problem and which hopefully will extend its service life. Installation was easy as the duct work was already made up for the smaller blower.Cheers!

My first impression was a nicely built unit but withing 10 minutes one of the little silver tabs holding the wire for the speed controller came off.I got this as a emergency radon gas exhaust while I waited for an appointment with the radon experts . Got it hooked up and it does draw about 0.4" vacuum in our system but our radon levels actually went up. When investigatingbi found that some of rivets over the high pressure portion of the fan leaks the gas that we are trying to exhaust. So in our case we where drawing radon out of the ground and leaking it into the wall. This can be fixed with some dynaflex over the rivots but it should never have been shipped in the leaking state the factory should have applied the same fix that I will or something better. It seems to have a very slight balance issue in the impeller blade that causes a vibration noise. I would have noticed it but i purchased another unit with an all plastic design and it doesn't have the vibration.

The speed control doesn’t work properly but I use it at full power anyway. It has low noise and moves a fair amount of air.

I really like the build quality and the ease of installation. This fan helped me keep our gear dryer working.

As I said it works great for the laser engraving setup that I have made a enclosure for

Like the power, not too loud. But, when trying to connect a standard 6" HVAC line, it does not fit. Why? The exhaust side of this unit is exactly 6.00" and the connecting flexible line is also 6.00". Guess what? It don't fit! Exactly the same size! Exhaust diameter of unit should have been 5.9" diameter so that a standard flex pipe, vent pipe, solid 6" pipe would easily slip in and tightened with a standard 6" pipe clamp. NOPE! Now you have to get an adapter to connect them together. Bad Engineering.
