Great container , holds 4 cups shy of a 10pound bag of Basmati rice . By looking at container you would not think so. it is ergonomic , a great container , with a screw on pouring device … quite nice !!

Convenient four-sided snap on lid with handle and pour spout for easy pouring. I really like the twist-seal cover for the pour spout because it serves both as a measuring cup, and because snap on covers tend to break off and go missing eventually!Thick, solid plastic. Airtight lid and twist-seal cover. I was actually surprised by the slim, yet very secure, design of the lid. Keeps our cat food fresh and fits nicely within narrow cupboard space. Usable for so many bulk storage options - rice, oats, cereal, pet food, etc. I have found myself identifying other items for which I would purchase other sizes with this design and construction.Knocked off one star for price. While it is overall great quality, I still feel the price point is inflated.

This is a good container for flour, but I have a problem with 2 things: the price, and the longevity of the locking tabs. It is a bit pricy for what it is, and the tabs are part of the cover and I'm expecting them to break off after a number of uses - this may or may not happen, but it seems that way once I locked them for the first time, and saw the bent plastic turn white. Who knows, it may last forever.As for it's functionality, it does seal extremely well - I foresee no issues with moisture as the cup is also sealed with an O-ring. I can easily pour the flour into the cup without having to open the lid tabs, which will extend their life considerably. The handle on the top is extremely useful as it makes it easy to pull the container out from amongst whatever other containers it may be stored with.It's made from thick plastic and is by no means flimsy; very tough and durable and should last.
