I have a new utility trailer that has 2x2 inch steel tubing (thin) that makes a fender-high railing around the front and sides but has all of the open ends with plastic plugs(4) that are either loose or fell out. I measured the inside diameter and these (Generic) are definitely larger and required a rubber mallet to install. I am very pleased that this has already exceeded my expectations.For those interested, the inside diagonal measurement of my original one was 1.95 inches and this product measured 2.09 inches. (The outside is definitely larger as well but since the original ones have been installed for more than 6 months thru a warm summer, it would not be a fair comparison.)I am like others...you see the word "Generic" and that means this product can be swapped out for any other supplier. I would say my review probably has an expiration date. (Today is: Nov. 5, 2023). Buy now!

I have a Lanai in Florida that was missing a metal end cap cover on on of the hollow beams. The opening was a 2"x2" square. Looked everywhere at hardware and home improvement stores. Nothing. Couldn't even get a call back from people who install Lanai's to see if they could help. Ordered these plugs that arrived in a day or two. Popped it in the end with a compression fit and it works beautifully.
