Bought for stripping paint and worked great. Grandpa saw it on my grinder and used it on the brick patio to remove water stains from grandma flower pots. He loved it but did leave scratches

I used these to strip the Mill Scale off some new metal, they did a good job and one disk would strip about 8~12 feet of 2x2 tubing (all sides) if you're careful. Too much pressure and it starts melting the material on the disk. Catch an edge and it will chew off a bunch of the abrasive and shorten the life of the disk considerably. I mostly let the grinder float on the material as it spins and give a slight pressure and move the grinder in sweeping motions over the material. I only gave this 4 stars because it's kind of pricy.

I used this for stripping rust and paint from salvage steel angle iron. These last a reasonable amount of time, and are highly selective in removing paint & rust while leaving the underlying metal surface unscathed. Highly recommend.

I've got a 1880's house, barn and outbuildings that have about 50 layers of paint and it's tough to sand it or remove it with normal process. These things are amazing. I'm not trying to get all the paint off, just trying to get the broken up pieces flatter to paint. Using a battery powered grinder makes pretty quick work of this - I'm amazed. The best part is that the wood doesn't get eaten up. I mean you could but normal pressure leaves it alone.I've only used this on wood so far but on metal it should be great as well. I figure wood is the hardest to strip because you would normally have to be very careful, but you don't.Overall: These are simply amazing. If you have an old building with layer and layers of paint, get these.

Not going to lie, I was skeptical that this was actually going to work but it freaking did. Not only did it work, it was quick and not as abrasive to the wood as I thought it might be. I struggled with stripping paint with just sand paper (yes, stood there for what seemed like decades to remove paint). This took mere seconds. I have a 12x40 pergola to do and now I’m not dreading it as much. I’ll have to test how long each pad lasts. Given the speed and ease, even if I have to buy more, it would be worth it. The time saved in this heat is key. I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Highly recommend this product.

Good tool but they don’t last as long as standard store bought pads.

Working excellent, little dusty, but washed it down. Way better than chemicals. Used 4 disk for 40ft of porch railing. Don't push to hard and you won't see any grinding marks in the wood. Would buy again.

The product works great and removes paint/stain/etc with ease. However, in comparison to the more expensive 3M product, it doesn’t last as long; but it’s reflected in the price. It took 5 discs to strip a 6’x10’ porch. So keep that in mind when ordering and calculate what you’ll need. I would still recommend the purchase..
