These are great quality 3/8" wooden dowels. What caught my eye with this product was "real imperial dowel". I'd been previously disappointed with a purchase of "10mm, approximately 3/8" dowels".These are perfectly finished 3/8". I used them for edge-to-face joints on a bookcase. They worked as expected and dry fitting was easy. Final assembly and gluing went without a hitch as well.The dowels came packaged in two resealable plastic bags which keep them organized and dry in my shop.

I grab roadside furniture and it usually needs some love. These glue dowels were perfect for replacing the broken ones in this table's legs. They are a snug fit for a 3/8 drilled hole so you may want to wallow out the holes slightly on one side of your joint so alignment isn't an issue.

These dowels are made well, and accurately sized. The come well wrapped and properly dry. I used these for a difficult installation in hardwood furniture and all is well.
