A ton of rings for a great value! I use these in school for clipping laminated sheets together in packets and hanging them up. They are firm when locked, some are a little difficult to open but I would much rather have tight clips than loose ones! Very pleased with this item.

100 Pack Clip Strip 1.5" Loose Leaf Binder Rings,1.5 Inch Nickel-Plated Steel Book Snap Rings, Key Rings, Book Binding, Hang Signs, Sample Books, Catalogs, Instruction Booklets & More in Retail Stores:These are great for organizing large bulks of paper and other projects where these types of rings could be used. These are sturdy, and smooth so no problem getting paper in and out. Not difficult to open or closed once figuring out how is done. The rings stay closed which is great for avoiding sudden messes if easily opened.

These split rings are just what I needed to put together a bunch of documents that I wanted to bind as 3-ring without putting into a binder. They are easy enough to open and close. They could also be used to bind documents as a two or four ring which I thought might be interesting. There would also be other uses I might try, like making a flip type desk calendar. I'm looking forward to trying that project when I have some time. This is a pack of 100 so it was plenty of rings to do my document project with lots of rings to spare, for a reasonable price.Recommended.

This came with 100pcs which is more than what I need. I mainly used it to hang a sports banner of our team to one of the EZ up canopies and these binder clips made it soo easy. For the bottom corners of the banner, I used a rope and binder clip but for the top, just a few binder clips. This is 1.5" and can be used on arts or self made study index card like memorization or math questions. You can punch the index card on the corner and put a binder clip to hold all of them. I also saw one family used a binder clip to put all their religious laminated prayer card in one for them and their kids. It is a solid metal and you just have to separate and slide out, put in on the hole and slide it close. These 1.5" would not be a good option to change a notebook spiral cord if you are a right handed because it might hinder on the left page of the notebook. Try smaller if you are looking to change your notebook spiral cord.

I see woodworkers making books from two pieces of plywood and this type of binder ring. Personally, I don’t see a need for them, and I don’t like the look. But if there is a demand and it can be sold at a profit, I am willing to make some. So I purchased these to build a few books and see if anyone is willing to purchase them. These rings are nicely plated and are stiff enough so as not to open accidentally. At a 1.5-inch diameter, they should be big enough to hold quite a few pages. One of the listed uses is as a key ring. Although they are stiff, I am not willing to take a chance of losing some of my keys by using this as a key ring. If the ring did accidently open you could have keys spilling all over the place. As a test, I replaced several of the rings that hold my plastic shower curtain on its rod, and the result was good. I have no idea if repeated use would cause wear on either the rings or the shower rod, but this would be a cost-effective alternative.I am the happy owner, or more likely servant, of two young cats that, through play, have broken all of the plastic slides that the curtain hooks into from my traverse rod. As an experiment, I snapped several of these rings around the traverse rod and hooked the curtain hooks into them. This put each pleat at an angle but looks much better than the curtain not being hooked to the rod.I am sure there are additional applications I will find for these rings.I would purchase these in the future.

Binder rings have to be one of the most useful items you can have around the house. Useful for so many things from the office, car, decorating. I especially like replacing the comb binding on my text books with the binder rings so that they will lay flat. These binder rings move smoothly on their hinge and hook securely together in the middle. The join is flat and doesn't catch on the papers.
