I had purchased some different seed pods but they wouldn't grow anything. These started growing in about three days!! I was amazed! The plants are still going strong and should be able to transplant in about a week or so. I was growing lettuce, so not sure if they will work as well for flowers or other vegetables but they certainly worked great on the lettuce!

These seed sprouting sponges make the job easy. The seeds sprouted quickly. They will fit into almost any pot. They retain water at just the right amount to keep the seeds moist but not too wet.

Overall, I’d say 95% of the sponges were still intact. However, it also say that 90% of the sponges grew algae as well. There were no nutrients in the water and I consistently do water changes so I know it was a sponge. However, a little bit of algae didn’t stop any growth.

I bought these for use in my Aerogarden pods, because I had seed kit pods to re-use and spare stickers, but couldn't find the brand name sponges available for sale by themselves. They worked fine. Size was a little inconsistent, some of them were shorter and sit deeper in the pods, but my lettuce seeds still germinated in them, and are growing nicely.

This is the second year for me to use these, they are so easy to use and my plants grow great. I just pull them out and plant them in my garden.

I've been using these for cuttings. They are perfect for rooting cuttings. I have Pamela Crawford side planters and these are perfect for rooting/replacemet plants for the sides. It's hard to add fullness to the sides of a completed planter without redoing the whole planter. Once a plant is started in this medium, it is a perfect fit into the side of the planter. When I buy plants for my planter, I make cuttings to freshen it later.

I had purchased an aquatic grow system for my kitchen counter. The first things I planted did great. The grow pods that came with the system were compressed peet or coir. The replacement pods feel more like rubber.

I bought these as I had run out of the current ones I had. Unfortunately these were too small and none of the seeds in these ones grew 😢

It is significantly thinner than the advertised size. Booked a return as soon as I opened the parcel, since it was obviously useless for the hydroponic system I own.

They are far too thin to fit, the size is wrongly advertisied.
