I bought this 100 pack to try out on my vintage Philips CDR820 CD recorder. I used to use Sony 100 pack CD-R Music discs but they don't make them anymore. Lately I had been using 25 pack Verbatim & 50 pack Maxell CD-R music discs but they don't sell a 100 pack. And a 50 pack Maxell CD-R music is about the same price as the Smartbuy 100 pack. So far they record fine and the price for 100 discs for around $20 is pretty darn good. For all you people who still own a vintage CD Recorder and need blank CD-R music discs, give them a try.

Despite what the streaming services try to push, audio CDs are still very popular. These digital audio CD-Rs work great and it's nice that there's some standard with all digital audio devices. I was using another brand that was out-of-stock and decided to try these. I have a stand alone Tascam Pro digital recorder and these discs record with no issues and were cheaper then my previous brand. I'll be ordering more!

I really like this well priced, yet still high quality, product. My only, minor, beef is the packaging. There is no spindle provided, and ONLY the product’s packaging is what is holding all 100 discs together. The result, when I opened it up, was that all the discs fell out in a huge pile on the floor. Not a deal breaker-the discs work well, no damage done-but rather a head’s up that care should be used when unwrapping the package. The thin plastic wrapper is the only thing holding the discs in a bundle instead of a pile! Would nonetheless recommend this product and I would buy it again. The wrapping is the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

So far the disc. Recorded fine in my Harman kardon cdr20 recorder. This system only accepts (digital audio) Recordable cds.(it must say digital audio)if not on the disc. I can't use the disc. Unfortunate I use to buy them from micro center, but they stop selling them. Which were verbatim cd-r & I couldn't find them on the web site for the kind I needed. Then what a blessing I came upon u guys(thank the lord) because I was about to stop recording w/that system. By the way for all the reviewers out there, hey it doesn't matter what brand you buy,the quality are the same. Example =skipping, stop jump to next track,the noise u may experience comes from the connection of your system, (sometimes the grounding or no grd. System picks up noise reduction. They on the other hand (manufacturers are not going to check every cd being made from a machine. You would think 🤔 so but really not happening. Thanks for reading my review and I'm going to now continue to ordering my cd disc from smart buy.

These are the worst Cd-r music disc for recording. Every time I record on these disc and finalize the recorded disc they will not play back on any device. ABSOLUTE JUNK. NOT ONE HAS WORKED. DON'T WASTE MONEY BUY the Maxell Cd-r music. I had to give it one star to make my review

These CD are by far the worst I've seen. There is scratching and pitting on many of them and they arrived with some damaged and cracked. This is the second spindle of 100 I've bought and at least 30% of them have sector errors. My mistake for ordering again, fool me twice I guess. I will never be ordering from this vender again.
