If you are using good quality extrusions these fit really well and I can put them in and take them out as expected. With cheaper extrusions I found them to be very tight. I could put them in but not take them out except by sliding them to the end. I keep both the M5 and M3 sizes in the house all the time. They are not that expensive and the frustration of needing one and not having one makes it worth the cost.

These worked great, were easy to install and use. No complaints.

I should had tried these earlier. I am using them to make a mount for my HOTAS joysticks and got real tired of messing with regular t-nuts. Regular t-nuts would not always rotate into place to lock securely into place. These t-nuts slide into place and stay in-place till I fix the part to the extrusion.Cost more than regular t-nuts but are worth it for me.

As mentioned by others, these do not roll into some extrusions (LDO's anodized kits, in my case) UNLESS you file down one side of the flat edge of the nut, but are fantastic nonetheless. Preloading them in my Voron v2.4 has been fantastic. Once torqued down, they do not move at all.

They fit and hold well. They also make secondary assembly much easier. 3 out of 100 were loose in the extrusion but still held well. Easier than using the "Hammer Head" type. Overall a good product

These roll into LDO extrusions, which are known to be tighter than other 2020 extrusions. You have to push them down on the edge with a screw driver to get them to pop in due to the spring loaded ball on the back.Edit: no problems on my Voron Trident build other than a couple with the countersink on the wrong side.

I first ordered these around 2 years ago, and while they slid in from the end of my Misumi extrusions, they would not roll in, which is the purpose of this kind of T-nut. After seeing some more recent reviews which seemed to suggest that they had addressed the issue, I ordered them again for my curent Voron 2.4 build. Once again, they just don't fit.Someone suggested using an appropriately sized bolt as a lever, and I have included a photo of the results. In short, the bolt lost. So I'll be returning these and trying yet again.

The product came quickly, but they do not fit the generic m3 profile in that the spring-loaded ball does not stick out far enough to get the nut not to slide on my generic aluminum extrusion. The force on the ball seems to be adequate for keeping it in place, but the spring-loaded ball itself does not stick out far enough to make contact with the extrusion. (I have a Creality CR-30). If this review does make it back to the manufacturer, make the spring-loaded thing stick out more.

At this price point you expect a few duff units in a pack but there are surprisingly few. I prefer these over the half nuts that can screw themselves out, but these still have the advantage of being able to add into a channel retrospectively. They can still slide around when loose and the channel is vertical say but overall tend to stay in place until moved into position.
