I had a project almost complete using 3 different barrier strips and it was getting out of control. I'm now in the process of taking all the barrier strips our and converting everything over to these lever nuts. Compact, easy, fast, easily changed, any size of solid or stranded wire, inexpensive, vastly superior to barrier strips for my purposes.

I have used 5 of the gray wire nuts so far and every one of them has either let the wire poke through the top of the wire nut or the spring inside has let loose from the plastic cover. A warning to whoever purchases these. I haven't tried the other wire nuts so I won't completely give a lowest rating, but it is trending there.....
