I used these to repair a 1960 Nutone ceiling heater. The small is indeed small. It was just big enough to splice one #18 gauge and one #14 gauge together. Hope this helps.

Worked well for the igniter on my oven. Looks just like the ones that came off the igniter that got misplaced.

I am sure I could have returned them, but kept just incase I need small connectors where there might be enough heat to require ceramic.

The igniter on the top oven of my GE double oven gas range went out after a fair amount of use and I chose to replace it myself. Fishing the wires into the board in the back of the oven it’s really complicated for this model therefore I opted for the common short cut, but I needed high temperature wire connectors to withstand the heat in the oven. I’ve read comments of these caps being too large so I also bought a similar set from a different vendor (Supco T1165 small ) just in case. I used these since they were as small as they get and also provided a perfect fit (the wires nor cap didn’t come lose once tightened although I handled them quite a bit to tuck them into a safe spot). The Supco ones are medium size (although they are advertised as “smallâ€) and indeed way to large, although it seems other customers used those successfully.

I looked at the chart and chose the size according to the plastic colored nuts I had. This product was much smaller. It was for an oven igniter. Should have ordered the medium

As it turns out, I didn't need to use these ceramic wire nuts, but they arrived a day earlier than expected! I've kept them for future use, since they don't seem to be available at my local retail outlets. Please reference my Gas Oven Ignitor Replacement review for related informationThank you!
