My order for humidifier wicks and bacteriostat arrived in reasonable time and was extremely well packaged. This is a valuable service. One suggestion: it would be nice to be able to get bacteriostat one bottle at a time, rather than two taped together, inasmuch as it does not get used up very fast.

Used these and they did not perform as well as the OEM. The top 25% quickly (two weeks) turned a dark yellow and became rock hard, not wicking the water up at all. Swapped them out for the other two in my order and the same thing happened, but also then found dozens of tiny flies in the unit's tank and within the filter itself after a few days. Not sure if they were in the house and attracted by the unit (no flies elsewhere in the rooms) or that they were in the filter media as eggs and hatched when put into the water. Either way, they did not perform as expected. I will use the OEM that I found for the same price at Menards which when compared to these the filter media is noticeably different.

These work good. I use them just in the Winter. I run a pellet Stove in the Winter and it helps with the Humidity percent in the house so it doesn't get to dried out.I only buy them Once or Twice it depends how much I run the machine. For how many you get I think it's worth the money. Filter quality does depend on how much you run the machine.Easy to use. Durability is also good.I would definitely order them again. The only thing sometimes the Shipping was delayed. I will say the shipping delay was not long.
