Instructions:
1. Place the cap on the tank port and turn clockwise
2. Continue to turn the cap clockwise until it clicks

4. Continue to rotate until the cover can be removed

Works how it should, feels like it’s good quality. Lock works but will get water in it and freeze if you use it on top of a slip tank.

Had issues with this locking cap when I first received it , it was extremely hard to unlock , and went to return it , well it started to get easier to unlock and now the last time I fuelled up it was impossible to unlock and remove, I had to get a mechanic to come by and help with it, after prying on it and twisting it finally unscrewed !!! I don't know what I would have done if my truck was totally empty and I couldn't have driven for help. This is a total waste of money and wished I had returned it right away .

Very cheaply made, breaks easily when trying to unscrew - cap skips and stops catching, ends up stripped so just spins when it’s in unlocked position, if it breaks completely without unscrewing it it’s a huge pain to remove!
