Let me START off by saying that when i FIRST received this....waaaay back in 2021, I WAS HIGHLY IMPRESSED with all i got! This thing is an absolute CORNUCOPIA of additional attachments, stencils, extra bits galore....EXCELLENT! I immediately put it to HARD, DAILY use! I mean...this little gem has been my GO TO tool...for any number of tasks. Ok, fast forward to a couple months ago. I AM SO HARD on it..the power cord finally gave out. (SO shocked it didnt happen much sooner!) I politely emailed them...THATS ALL!!!! A SIMPLE REQUEST "TO HELP". I really didnt expect a reply! Well, NOT ONLY did this company reply Immediately with their concern and additional tips and tricks??? THEY JUST....SENT ME A WHOLE NEW COMPLETE ITEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i had trouble with was the cord!! I mean...FOLKS? You cannot GET better customer service than that! IF I COULD GIVE THESE FOLKS 7 STARS...I WOULD..without an ounce of hesitation! I RARELY see this kind of knowledge and competance...anywhere else! BRAVO!!!! and .....THANK YOU!!

I tested out the product is soon as I got it. Here are some things that I noted.PROS-CAN BE USED WITH FRAGILE MATERIAL:I tested it on a Sandollar, which is pretty fragile and soft. On the lowest setting, I was able to carve designs without shattering the Sandollar, though it did take some structural damage in one spot.- CAPABLE OF SMALL DESIGNS- QUICK RECOVERYIf the pen stopped working, it would run again if I turned it off, pushed the bit back into place, and turned it back on.- GREAT NAIL FILEThe accessories for nail filing worked well on my natural nails. Have not tested it on acrylic nails.CONS- STOPS ITSELF OFTEN:Even though I wasn’t applying that much pressure for the Sandollar, the engraving pen would shut down because of overheating or the bit getting loose from the spinning.It shut down every 15 minutes more or less.- HAS TO BE PLUGGED IN TO WORKThe pen has to be plugged into the wall the entire time. The cord is short, limiting mobility.NOTE:I haven’t tested the engraver on harder materials, such a stone or wood. So I don’t know if the pen would shut down more often when more pressure is applied.Also, it can be messy! Different materials will give off different amounts of residue.With the Sandollar, I was having to blow on it, consistently to keep the surface clean and clear enough for me to see my work.

The stencils are great. The engraver is not powerful enough to read the markings on brass or any other metal.

This package actually arrived 2 days early…the box it comes in is plain looking but do not let that throw you off, this little tool packs a PUNCH! I have already used to prep my nails for a mani-pedi, etched 3 glasses, and sawed off extra wood from my craft set. The collets, drill bits, cutting discs, and the various tips are steady, made well, and durable. The tool itself is super cool in that it does NOT run hot or smell.You will notice a “machinery†like smell upon opening, but it goes away. Overall, I’m super impressed with this rotary tool! One last bonus…it fits all other rotary tool attachments! 15 stars and I highly recommend this as a great gift for your friends that are into crafting and woodworking. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

This is not made for any projects listed besides etching and some light sanding.-It is not an acutal tool rotary carver, it is an electric nail filer, even states it on the carver itself.-The box is filled with items you can find for cheap on wish and they don't even fit into this nail filer correctly. They are too big and tend to get stuck even if you unscrew the top all the way.-The box came damaged, one of the plastic boxes destroyed, and a resin cutter broken.-Everything was just thrown into the box which will cause damage during shipping.-I tried using several different bits on rocks, wood, and glass. And it only worked for etching glass. It didn't even scratch the rocks, which i used several kinds, and didn't even do hardly anything on wood.-If you want something to do glass etching with then get this, or just get a cheaper electric nail filer with detailed bits.

Size is good. Easy to use. Accessories is really good. Stability is good. Easy to hold. Weight is really good. Only one I've ever owned so I don't any difference.
