"SUPER EASY" to Replace CD60 Motor Start Capcitor
First of all, Turn off the power.
Secondly, Take out the motor start capacitor.
Finally, Make sure that you know which wire is for which terminal - direct replacement without changing wiring or adapters & Confirm the appropriate capacitance (uF or MFD) and voltage.

UPDATE:It only lasted 2 days and then popped. I had to try another capacitor and so far that one is working.Easy to swap the popped capacitor with this one. The last AC repair man told us to check capacitors before tinkering with anything else - luckily that's all the issue was. We have cold air again!

AC condenser fan broken in the hottest days... ordered this, showed up in 1 day, 20min swap, everything back to working condition again! I need to order another one to keep in back pocket!

Blew the start capacitor in my newer 60 gal craftsman air compressor. This one is not an exact name brand replacement but the range of specs listed and its physical size matched. You WILL need to solder a new resistor across the terminals and that resister does not come with it, but there are plenty available on Amazon. So far the capacitor has worked perfectly. We’ll probably by a spare

This capacitor arrived 3 days late and non functioning. We are still without running water because the part even though it is the proper part is a bad part, the electronics in it are just a a fried as the one I need to replace! In addition, even though I paid for prime to have it shipped to us quickly, they didn’t even ship it until two days after the order. Then it was delayed by a snowstorm which it wouldn’t have been touched by had it been shipped the day I ordered it. But even though we got the part we went through the trouble of installing it only to find it’s a lemon, no response from the capacitor at all.Which means we now have to wait on a new part to be sent to us, definitely not from Amazon this time!Really would have loved to know three days ago what a crap deal I was getting!Don’t waste your time or money!
