I like these! I thought I would because I love river rock, especially polished river rock. These are smaller stepping stones, 10 inches – but they were promoted accurately so no surprise. I have the perfect spot for them at the edge of my cement slab between the trellis and shed. Having the mesh on the back side makes it much easier to move around. To start, I’m just placing them on the ground as I want to be able to pick them up and wash them off. That will also help to keep the weeds and grass under control that will try to grow up between them. I’m thinking I might pour some little pea rocks into the tiny openings to make them even more sturdier and less likely to encourage grass growth. I would recommend these and feel the price is fair for polished river rock.

All the stepping stones arrived with all rocks in tact attached to the round backing fiber. The rocks all look great and are whole with no chips and very smoothly polished. The pattern of rocks are nice and randomized with a good fill (no large gaps) . The fiber backing is visible so its best to either install on concrete and grout, imbed in cement (or cover with sand / small particulate (I will be covering with decomposed granite).UseI used my rocks to be a functional stepping stone to keep decomposed granite off my shoes (mainly to keep small rocks from getting in the treads of a shoe). For that these stones work well and the size is fine even for size 13 shoes -- which are larger than the stones but the height of the stone still keeps the shoe form making contact.Final thoughts:These are nice stones that I recommend. At the time of the review the price listed was a bit high for 10" stones, but that may change.

I recently picked up this set of stepping stones for my stone garden, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The package didn’t have nearly as many stones as the picture shows, which left me wanting more to complete my design. While the stones themselves are decent quality, I expected a fuller set as the picture shows. These are really small. It works well enough, but if you’re looking to cover a larger area, you might want to get double. Overall, I’d say these stepping stones are just okay, not quite what I hoped for.

I needed a way to bridge the gap between my teak walkway and the raised plant beds. I ordered this set of 6 river rock stepping stones for that reason. They have a mesh backing on them to keep them in the rhombus shape. I have ordered the polymeric sand that is used between pavers to use under these. I will be able to stabilize these stepping stones with that sand. I like the color variation of the rocks that make up these stepping stones. I am very pleased with their quality and size.

These are very attractive stepping stones- they have a sleek modern look. They are also very well made and have held up with both adults and kids trouncing on them. They look exactly like the picture and again are well made. Highly recommend

My river rock is very small. For the price, I expected more. The netting that's holding it together is very flimsy. The rocks are spaced so far apart and are so small that the netting is very visible.

I recently ordered this 6pk of River Rock stepping stones with loose rocks. I like the color & appeal & have always wanted to create a pathway in my backyard. I wish there were more than 6, but we'll get creative.
