Lightweight but nice sound, calming sound. If you need or miss istening to the waves, give this drum a chance. Been sitting down to relax or meditate playing it and you can get the long waves, the short ones. You will feel it. Not a beating drum just sooth in. A noise machine may have a recording of waves but just a recording.. This is cheaper and better sound. Try closing your eyes and you may imagune the smell as well. You have the clear film on both sides and the metal balls rolling around making the sound. Just need to go slow and the waves will be heard. The marvels of science, music and nature all together.

The sound is so nice and calming. It helps my sister and I with de-stressing and relaxing. We both have autism and days can be rough sometimes but this really helps. Its beautifully designed and it’s great to use as a drum too.

Very cheap. If you had a good imagination you could hear ocean waves but you had to keep moving it to get that effect
