This was perfect to connect an old battery cable over to extended newer battery cable.

I used this connector to extend some #10 wire to an outside box. Just takes time to make sure all wires are the same length for ease of connecting. Be careful in backing out the set screw that you don't drop it and lose it. (yes, I did) Once connected, it has worked flawlessly. I sure beats some other connection methods for being secure and safe.

I was not able to use these one I bought the listed size didn’t match my wire size. It runs a little small I think. I did keep for future projects as it looks good quality.

Listen to the other reviews. I ordered the 10Awg product and the opening for the wire is way too small. It’ll never fit 10 gauge wire. Appears closer to 15-16 gauge wire would fit the product with a 10Awg description.

Screws strip out. Heat shrink doesn't have true sealant in them. Cheap!! Ok in a pinch to get you home. Buy better to actually make a permanent connection.

A new puppy chewed the power cord on a brand new $160 UPS. (It wasn't plugged in, she's fine)I just couldn't throw it away and buy again (not the puppy, the UPS). Most crimp connectors I wouldn't trust for 110V, maybe on the car for 12V accessories. Between the screw down method on the conductors and the shrink wrap that I doubled over, I trust these connections are safe and working well.
